Ken Giles has been professionally appraising for over 30 years, having previously led appraisal departments for four major banks across three different states. His expertise includes advising due diligence teams, conducting inspections and documentation reviews for mergers and construction projects, navigating management and compliance issues for regulators, and completing forensic consulting assignments. He has conducted countless business and estate valuations in South Carolina, Georgia and nationwide.

Born in Dallas, Ken recalls his parents moving to a dozen different homes before graduating high school—but says he was able to find them every time.

Ken tells his clients that he will travel anywhere in the world for them as long as he can be home for dinner, and home is anywhere his family is. Ken and his wife Darlene live in Columbia, South Carlina with their two beautiful daughters. As a family, they have completed several foreign medical mission trips. Ken also enjoys traveling, especially whitewater canoeing in the Appalachian Mountains, but has learned that people are the best part of the adventure.
